This website is operated by HOB furniture 14667294 (referred to as us or we). As a user of this website (also referred to as the buyer) you acknowledge that any use, including any transactions that you make, is subject to our terms and conditions.
When ordering with houseofbling.furniture you consent to us sending you special offers & promotions by email.
The contract between us and the buyer shall be on these terms to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.
The following terms govern the use of one or more of the following websites by you: houseofbling.furniture. Terms which are specific to the use of this site are set out at the end of these terms and comprise part of them and are incorporated into them.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF USE AND DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE. By using this Site, you agree to the following terms of use (the “Terms of Use”) and our privacy policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this Site. HOB Furniture reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these Terms of Use from time to time. By accepting our terms of use, you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates.

The information contained in this Site, including but not limited to the rules that govern the use of the Site, may be subject to change. Your use of the Site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the rules, as changed. Your confirmation of acceptance will be sought in respect of any changes which substantially affect your position under these terms.

Permission is granted to you to copy electronically and to print in hard copy portions of this Site for the sole purpose of using this Site as an information resource (or of ordering goods or services and using this site as a shopping resource). Any other use of materials on this Site-including reproduction for purposes other than noted above, modification, distribution, or reproduction-without the prior written permission of HOB Furniture is strictly prohibited.
Order Acceptance
If we accept your order, we will send you a confirmation of this by email. The receipt of an email order confirmation by you constitutes our acceptance of an order and the conclusion of a contract between us to sell the goods you have ordered, subject to these terms. Whereas, following such acceptance, HOB Furniture will always seek to meet the requirements of your order, there may be circumstances following confirmation where we are unable to ship products due to unavailability (of which we were not aware at the time of confirmation of the order) . If that is the case, we will notify you as soon as possible and will refund the money for the unavailable products back onto your card or into your account. If the payment process has not begun at that time, the money for such products will not be taken out of your account or from your card. HOB Furniture’s acceptance is therefore subject to the availability of products following the receipt of the confirmation email by you. Equally, while HOB Furniture endeavours not to make any errors on its website and to ensure that its descriptions, details and dimensions of its products, its prices and other information about HOB Furniture or its products, are accurate and up to date, errors can occur. If we identify an error that materially impacts your confirmed order, we will notify you as soon as possible and will provide you with the option of cancelling your order in full or the part(s) of your order affected by the misinformation. If you make such a cancellation, the money for the cancelled part of your order will be refunded to your account (or will not be taken at all if the payment process has not begun at that time). Prices and availability of products on the Site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered, and HOB Furniture reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including after an order has been submitted).
All wing beds are only available with an end ottoman lift due to their design
Ottoman gas lift Storage goes through to the floor with no underneath base required. For pictures of this please contact us.
Ottoman divan lift are solid box lift up.
When choosing ottoman lift up Storage please note generally ottoman gas lift up function received will be the metal cage hydraulics system with storage that goes directly through to the floor.
This can be changed upon request to a divan ottoman box lift however please not this will raise the base of the bed and possibly the design look. Any beds advertised on divan bases and the ottoman function is added will always receive the box-based ottoman divan function
Any bed added as an ottoman gas lift feet are not attached and need to be requested as an added extra, this is to allow the bed to have no gaps between the side rails and the floor For any mirrored beds done over the height of 70 inches, we would recommend attaching to the wall by brackets or done as a wallboard.
The charge of assembly on this would be extra and quoted once pictures of the wall spaces have been received and confirmed the wall is adequate enough to have a bracket or a wallboard attached HOB Furniture reserves the right to cancel an order at any time until the order has been delivered, for any reason, and refund the customer in full.
Alterations
An alteration charge may be applied in the event an item needs to be cut down or changed to facilitate the room the item is going in to.
Please note alteration cost is dependent on the item and is between £99 and £350 depending on the work carried out, before the item is altered please get in touch for price confirmation.
Please also note if you require the item to be extended and made bigger this is also available at an additional cost, for a quote please contact us with the required measurements.
Discount Codes
Discount Codes are restricted to one per customer, per order. Any order that attempts to combine coupon codes in order to gain a greater discount will be cancelled and refunded. Discount codes are solely at the discretion of HOB Furniture and we reserve the right to withdraw any special offer or coupon code at any time.
Bespoke Beds Made-to-order
We offer a made-to-measure service on the majority of our sofas and beds.
Please note measurements may differ very slightly by a few centimeters as these are hand-manufactured products.
Please note on the majority of our bespoke made-to-order sofas, we offer the option of adding the sofa as a pull-out sofa bed, please contact us for a quote if you require this option.
If you opt for this option the sofa bed is 120cm equivalent to a 4ft Double, you will also expect a slightly raised seating surface to accommodate the underneath storage bed.
This only applies to our bespoke made-to-measure sofas and not our Bespoke made-to-order beds range we offer on our website.
Please also note that for beds over 72 inches high we recommend you secure them to the wall by means of a wall bracket.
Any beds ordered over 64 inches will be done on divan bases, this is done to add extra strength to allow for the extra weight and height of the headboards, if you require the base to be different please contact us prior.
Headboards
For headboards that are ordered over 54 inches high, we recommend you measure the access areas to ensure they can go up the stairs, the option to split a headboard into two sections is available for an additional cost of £75, if you do opt for a split headboard we do recommend that you attach the headboard to the wall by the means of a wall bracket.
Ottoman Gas Lift Beds
Please note ottoman gas lift beds work on a weight base system, please do not force the gas lift mechanism down when there is no mattress on top, as this can cause faults to the mechanism.
Divan Bed Bases
Divans bases come in 2 pieces excluding a single this-will come as 1 full piece.
General divan bases with drawers will be made up of two split boxes that attach horizontally. A divan ottoman gas lift will be delivered with two longer thinner sections that attach vertically.
Divan measurements
Single W 90cm x L 190cm x H 40cm Double W 135cm x L 190cm x H 40cm Kingsize W 150cm x L 200cm x H 40cm Super Kingsize W 180cm x L 200cm x H 40cm.
All beds have the option to be added with a TV, for an additional charge.
We do not supply the TV just the bracket.
Tv footboards come as one full piece and sit flush to the floor, tv footboards are extremely heavy and bulky in size.
Fabric/Website Pictures
We recommend you order fabric samples before proceeding with a purchase as lighting of pictures can sometimes be deceiving and alter the look of colours and fabrics slightly.
Please note fabric samples are a guidance and can not always be a 100% match the shade of colouring may on occasions be a shade darker or lighter, due to the upholstered piece of furniture coming off a different roll of fabric to the sample of fabric.
Please note as our products are a bespoke made to order items, that depending on the requested measurements chosen / colours and fabrics chosen that items may differ slightly to the picture.

Made to measure sofas Beds and upholstered furniture including coffee tables, benches, chaise lounges and ottoman boxes.
It’s important you clarify the measurements you are ordering and read the description of item you are ordering.
Delivery
Delivery costs are non refundable for any reason. While we will do our best to accommodate any delivery requirements and dates, HOB Furniture cannot guarantee that these requests or requirements will be met. Special requirements and any delivery restrictions should be stated at the checkout in the notes section or you should inform a member of staff at HOB Furniture as soon as you place your order. In the unlikely event of damage being caused to your property by the delivery team, HOB Furniture will not accept responsibility for any damages or expenses.
We shall not be liable for any loss, economic or loss of profit or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly from any delay in the delivery of the goods.
Please note that adverse weather conditions may delay your delivery.
We deliver between 7 am and 9pm for any reason delivery drivers are running behind schedule they will give you the option to take delivery past this time.
Failed deliveries will incur a Redelivery charge of up to £65
Collection charges also apply for our furniture items excluding beds and sofas of up to £120
we do not refund or offer a collection service on bespoke beds and sofas, we do however replace and fix any faults or damages which are our fault at no extra cost.
We will arrange delivery with you prior to the delivery date and our drivers will contact you with a delivery slot, please note delivery slots are subject to change due to road conditions or any other factors that may impact on the delivery teams day. However customers will be updated on this.
Delivery drivers will obtain pictures and signatures on each delivery they will also obtain videos of the delivery if felt necessary.
Drivers will also obtain pictures and videos on any assembled items.
In the instance of any item being delivered or assembled with damages then the item is required to stay there and we will communicate with you on a collection and exchange date.
In the instance of a bed or sofa being damadged upon arrival then we welcome customers to use the products until we can come back and exchange the faulty goods.
Assembly
If for any reason you have paid for your bed or wall board to be assembled and it does not fit up your stairwell then please note you are still liable for the fitting fee and the headboard/ wall board is left with you.
Cancellation and Returns
Should you change your mind about your purchase we have a 24-hour cooling-off period in which you can cancel your order, we will need written or verbal communication from yourself ‘customer’ within this time period in order to cancel.
In the majority of cases if your upholstered furniture that falls under our bedroom and living room categories arrives with a defect or damage to it, or there is a discrepancy in measurements the affected item will be collected taken back to the factory, and rectified then returned within 14 working days.
All our beds and sofas are made to order and seen as bespoke item which has been done to your requirements, for any reason an item is received damaged, faulty, or not to your satisfaction then we will exchange this item for you or part if deemed necessary! Alternatively, we will provide an accessor to you within a 14-day period to check the product was received in the correct order and to satisfactory standards.
In some cases, we may need to return the item back to our factory for further inspection and for any necessary amendments Should you wish to return the goods or an item is being exchanged it is your responsibility to take good care of the furniture. You are the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered to you and you are liable for any loss or damage, and to ensure the item is returned to us in the condition received Each bed is considered a specialist / bespoke, made to order item and therefore is a non-returnable item. Once the 24 hour cooling off period has been exceeded you will not be able to cancel your order or return your bed.
In extraordinary circumstances, If you are not happy with your purchase and wish to return your bed once delivered it may be possible at managers discretion to exchange the bed to the value, however this will incur a £150 handling fee to cover delivery and installation charges, we reserve the right to withdraw this offer, it is at managers discretion.
All sizes given are approximate and stated mattress and bed sizes refer to the sleeping surface only;
mattress sizes may vary slightly from their stated dimensions due to manufacturing tolerances – manufacturer’s specification subject to tolerance +/- 2 inches, 5cm); and comfort grading is for guidance only.
When placing a mattress on a bedstead please note that there may be a gap around the edges; this is to allow for rotation & bedding.
Unfortunately, we cannot authorize refunds or exchanges on any products that have arrived in perfect condition with no faults or defects, are out of their original packaging, or any item that has been slept on.
Please note that depending on size of bed ordered that this will change the appearance of the bed slightly to fit the requested size, ie the upholstery and any curves or bumpers in the bed frames or headboards ordered if you live in a block of flats it is important you contact HOB Furniture as delivery drivers are only at liberty to deliver to the front door of the block for any large item unless it has been confirmed and agreed with HOB Furniture prior to delivery that we will bring up any stair cases to reach the flat door.
We do not offer a refund on any item made bespoke to order.
These items include:

- Footstools
- Upholstered coffee tables
- Chaise lounges
- Benches
We do however offer an exchange, repair or rectify on any item which is deemed faulty, misrepresented, and has a manufacturing error.
Please ensure to contact us immediately via email with pictures and videos you may have and our team will look in to this for you.
Please allow up to 28 days for any product to be rectified or replaced from collection.
Payment Option
30% deposit amount is to start production on bespoke made to order items, the remaining balance is due on completion.
In the event you wish to cancel this order then unfortunately the deposit amount is non-refundable and unable to be used in terms of a credit note.
If you cancel and order which is not a made to order item, your deposit amount can be credited back to you by a credit note to be used in our store or through our website, please note credit notes are valid for a 6-month period once issued to you.
Credit notes can be used as part payment, too.
When your bespoke item is ready for delivery using our deposit option.
Please note that if you have used the option to pay a 30% deposit to start production on your bespoke piece of furniture , once you have had confirmation your item is completed and the invoice has been sent over for the balance to be paid, that unless agreed with us when placing your order, we will store the item for 7 working day free of charge, if the balance has still not been received adyer this 7 day period our delivery company may start to charge storage cost which is charged at £17 per day, it is a vital if you are delaying a delivery or unable to pay the balance when the item is ready to be delivered that we are notified to ensure the costs are avoided.
We are happy to store items for you until your ready however it is vital we are made aware of this when ordering.
